I’m new to Zapier and I’m wondering if Zapier can extract the ping messages from Basecamp.
Basecamp has an instant message part called pings. (like slack and teams) is it possible for zapier to extract this messages and place it into slack?.
for referance, I already got the slack part setup

I’ve checked and the Zapier integration doesn’t support them - and not even the Basecamp API exposes them as far as I can see.
One potential workaround - do you get email notifications when a ping is received? If so we could be able to scrape those into Zapier.

Unfortunately, Basecamp Pings cannot be extracted through Zapier. This isn't a Zapier limitation, it's because Basecamp doesn't include Pings in their API at all. Pings are private direct messages, and Basecamp has chosen not to expose them through any integrations (likely for privacy/security reasons).

You'll need your team to use Campfire (project chat) or Message Boards instead of Pings if you want those messages flowing into Slack automatically.
