Does Outlook integration work with IONOS email?

Hi,

I’m new to Zapier and I’m trying to see if this integrates with my Outlook Client.  I’m trying to link my Paymo with my Outlook client to manage the Calendar and tasking.

Thanks,

Rico

Hi @Rico

You can check out the publicly available Zap apps here: https://zapier.com/app/zaps

You can see the available triggers/actions/searches for an app on the app’s profile page.

Example for Outlook: https://zapier.com/apps/microsoft-outlook/integrations#triggers-and-actions

Hi Troy,

I’m not seeing how to integrate this with my outlook client.  When you click to link to login to Outlook it is taking you to Microsoft website to login online (this is not Microsoft mail, it is IONOS that I’m pulling with my Outlook client).

Thanks,

Rico

Just following up on this one, as noticed you’d received a response from our Support team. We wanted to share part of that response here in case it’s helpful to others looking to do the same:

I'm afraid we only support Office 365 subscriptions or accounts that are hosted through Microsoft Exchange Online. That's because we use Microsoft's API to access your account and that API only supports certain types of accounts.

I'm not familiar with IONOS, but we do have specific apps for SMTP and IMAP email addresses. It might be worth checking in with your provider to see if you'd be able to connect to Zapier using one of those more general methods. You would need a bit of information from them in terms of their host URL, port, etc. This would also only be viable for sending emails, not managing contacts.

Hope that helps!
