Notice: register_rest_route was called incorrectly. The REST API route definition for zapier/v1/token is missing the required permission_callback argument. For REST API routes that are intended to be public, use __return_true as the permission callback. Please see Debugging in WordPress for more information. getting the error on my site

Hey @sushma - welcome to the Community! :)

From the look of that error message there seems to be an issue with the permissions when connecting Zapier to WordPress. To troubleshoot this, a good place to start would be the How to Get Started with WordPress on Zapier guide. It talks about the different requirements needed when connecting to WordPress and could be related to why you’re seeing that error here.

If you follow the guide and are still running into issues, your next best bet will be to reach out to our Support Team. They’ll be able to dig into the logs for your account and investigate further. They can be contacted through the Get Help form.

Hope that helps!

Just wanted to follow up here as discovered that a bug report has been opened for the “register_rest_route was called incorrectly” error that is appears in the WordPress system logs. I’ve added @sushma to the list of affected users and we’ll be in touch by email as soon as it’s been fixed.

In the meantime, it’s been reported that the WordPress integration itself functions as expected but this error is output in the WordPress logs. :)
