I have a zap which makes use of ChatGPT app. I have a requirement to utilize the API key sent into the zap’s trigger step to connect using a provided OpenAI account connection for the steps. Is there any way to utilize the integrated ChatGPT app in Zapier with a dynamically provided API key, or would I need to convert all the steps using that app to instead use a Code app and handle the API requests with custom code?

To use the OpenAI APIs, you would need to use one of these apps:

  • Code
  • Webhooks
