When creating a MCP server with action “Google Docs: Create Document From Text”, the default name of the tool as seen by the MCP client is: `google_docs_create_document_from..` (2 dots at the end) which crashes at least Vercel AI.

 

I believe we’ll want a fix from both sides: Zapier shouldn’t send it, and even if it does, Vercel AI shouldn’t crash (I’ll open an issue in their tracker)

 

(Also, the full description of the tool is: “Create a new document from text. Also supports limited HTML.” which doesn’t mention Google Docs, that’s not optimal but, it might work anyway)
