Issue with Zap Template - Email Autofill Not Functioning In Action Section

Hello Team,

I have set up a Zap template with the following sequence: New form entry in zoho form (Trigger) → Email Verification App (Action).

I'm reaching out to discuss a concern regarding the autofill email function in our Zap template. The sequence is as follows: When a new form entry is submitted in Zoho Form (Trigger), it should automatically fill in the email field in the Email Verification App, but it's not functioning as expected.

 Please take below Screenshot as a reference for autofill email is not working.

Hi @Charmi,

When setting up a Zap template, the data available from a prior step (in this case, the trigger) are the sample data that has been specified for the integration. This is mentioned here.

The sample data should only contain fields that would be available for every user. In the case of a form (like Zoho Forms), no 2 users would have the exact same form setup, so the form fields cannot be used as sample data as they are unique to the connected account. That’s why these fields do not show up in the Zap template.
