We don’t keep Zoom audio or video recordings, but we do keep audio transcripts. We are on Zoom Business.

When I’ve tested, the “New Cloud Recording” trigger shows us some of the old cloud recordings we have (since before we turned it off).

But when I try and test “New Audio Transcript”, only the dummy record shows when I click “Find New Records”. This is despite there being many transcriptions showing under https://tracebit.zoom.us/recording/meeting/transcript

Any ideas?

Thank yuo

Hi @bobzap

Are you still able to configure your Zap action steps using the Zap trigger test record?

Try turning the Zap ON and testing live, then check your Zap Run history details to see the DATA IN/OUT for each step to help you troubleshoot: https://zapier.com/app/history/

Help for how to use a live Zap Run as a Zap trigger example to configure your Zap:

I set a Zap up earlier today to see if any would trigger and none have triggered despite me having multiple meetings today

Was there anything specific in the zoom docs?

I have a suspicion that this integration isn’t performing as expected - I wonder if it’s because we don’t have video recordings / audio recordings but do have transcripts. I’m curious if anyone else in the community might know.

Hi @bobzap,

Thanks for reaching out about the Zoom integration. The issue may be related to missing video or audio recordings, even though transcripts are available. We recommend checking Zoom’s API documentation to confirm transcript support, ensuring your Zap is configured correctly for transcript data, and testing across different meetings. Zoom support may also offer helpful insights.
