Zaps not populating to last row of Google Sheets

We are having trouble with one of our zaps auto-populating new Squarespace leads into a random row in the middle of the Google Sheet, rather than the last row of the sheet. I have tried repopulating the Zap, turning it off/on, but nothing will trigger the new lead to populate at the bottom of the sheet, only in the middle. Please advise!

Hi @BridalBliss,

Thanks for reaching out! When Zapier inserts new data into the middle of your Google Sheet instead of at the bottom, it's often due to hidden or blank rows that appear empty but still contain formatting or characters. Zapier treats the first empty row as the next available one. To fix this, delete—not just clear—any unused rows below your data. For a smoother experience, consider using a separate tab just for Zapier entries and avoid filters, sorting, or merged cells on that sheet. This helps prevent conflicts and ensures Zapier behaves as expected.

Hi @BridalBliss,

Welcome to the Community! 🎉

Before we dig deeper into this, would you mind sharing a detailed screenshot of how your Zap is configured? Also, please share a screenshot of the CONFIGURE section of the Google Sheets action step that shows all of its fields.

Please don't include personal information in the screenshot, or be sure blur out any personal information.

Thanks!

Screenshots attached -- you’ll see that the latest zap populated in row 88 instead of below row 95
