I hope someone can help me. I’m stuck and cannot figure it out :-(

  1. I exceeded my monthly task quota of 750 Tasks (by accidentially triggering 8000 runs)
  2. Zapier switched to “pay per task” (Additional Tasks) beyond my monthly quote, actually ran 34 more tasks but then stopped
  3. I have since deleted the 8000 accidental runs, but new runs are coming in from other sources of my business, which now also get put on “Hold”
  4. PROBLEM: somehow Zapier puts all new tasks on “Hold” instead of running them by “pay per task”. Says “Task limit reached”
  5. A message says “These 6 Zap runs will be held until Januar 27, 2025. You can replay Zap runs individually or in bulk.” => held for a month?! (Even though my 750 zap quote is scheduled to reset in 1 week)
  6. I put “Autoreplay” to on. But when I marke the “Held” tasks and click run, it just tells me “Upgrade your plan”

It appears as if Zapier wants to force me to upgrade to a higher monthly task tier -- which is problematic, because I cannot downgrade later, as Zapier changed that policy some months ago.

Is this just throtteling and the held runs will Autoreplay in an hour (or tomorrow) maybe?

Its all very confusing. Hopefully you can help.

Do you have any idea or tips on how to get “un-stuck” from this sticky situation :)  Thanks in advance.

I found the problem: even though there were 34 runs on “pay per run basis” done, somehow the “pay per run” was deactivated in billing and I had to activate it (again) there. Now all held tasks run on the pay-per quote with out any problem.
