Zaps error out when referencing .webp images

I have some Zaps running that push text and images to LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook. The images are referenced with a URL referencing the image on my website, like:

https://mywebsite.com/wordpress/uploads/image.png

or

https://mywebsite.com/wordpress/uploads/image.webp

When the Zaps run and refer to a webp image, they error out. They run fine with .png, .jpg image references.

All the platforms I post to are OK with webp, and the images are automatically resized before Zapier sees them.

Can anyone help? Thanks in advance.

Good question.

You may need to add a step to either filter out those image formats OR convert those image formats to an image format you know works.
