Hi @c.anis,
Welcome to the Community.
If your Zap isn’t successfully adding images from Google Drive to Canva, check the configuration to ensure the correct file and destination. Verify the image file format (JPEG, PNG, SVG) and size are compatible with Canva. Ensure Canva has the necessary permissions and accounts for potential delays in syncing. Try re-running the Zap to identify errors. Automation may take extra time, especially with larger files or complex processes.
Let us know if you have further questions.
hi, thanks for the reply
So yes every thing seems alright with configuration an file format wich is a jpg image, also zapier test checks are okay, for the permissions i dont know where t find that.
Now i just messed arround and pre filled two fields TITLE and ID wich are not mandatory in the canvas zap, i got an error as shown in the attached file.
i dont know how to fix this
Hi there @c.anis,
Before we dig deeper into this, are you trying to upload a design in Canva? If so, I believe it’s not possible to upload a design in Canva at the moment since there’s no “File” field in the “Create Design” action step. I believe you can only create a design in Canva using the existing assests.
If you’re looking to upload a design in Canva, I would recommend reaching out to our Support Team to create a feature request on your behalf. You can reach our Support Team here: https://zapier.com/app/get-help
Hopefully, this helps.
hi thx for the reply
what do you mean existing assets , on drive or on canvas, my drive has many assets but i cant get it to canvas,
so what’s the point of putting create design if it can’t be done.
regards
Hi @c.anis,
Zapier's Canva integration supports actions like "Create Design," "Copy Design," and "Share Design." To create a Canva design using an image from Google Drive, you must manually upload the image to Canva first, as there's no direct way to pull assets from Google Drive into Canva via Zapier. Feedback on this limitation will be shared with the product team.
I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any other questions.
