Zapier outputting wrong data to pipedrive

Hi,

Zapier is attempting to output the data to Pipedrive using the wrong organization. This only seems to be for this organization in the example. 

Inputs correctly to Google sheets - outbound email is correct, but when move to pipedrive links up incorrectly

 

Form submission data
Google sheets rows created
Data outputted to Pipedrive 

Any ideas would be great - or directing me where I should be looking

Before we dig deeper into this, would you mind sharing a detailed screenshot of how your Zap is configured? Also, please share a screenshot of the Pipedrive action step that shows all of its fields in the “CONFIGURE” section.

Thanks for the screenshots!

Could you please try mapping the Org ID data from the Find Person step as a custom value in the “Organization” field of the “Create Deal” step? If that doesn’t work and you’re looking to connect the person-orgs-deals and notes. Here’s how:

Pipedrive has different entities, Organizations, Persons, Deals, Activities, Notes, Leads.

And each of those entities has some rules on how that connect to each other.

  • Organizations are the most versatile one, it can connect to as many other entities as possible.
  • Persons can connect to only one Organization, but can connect with as many deals, notes or activities possible.
  • Deals can connect with only one Organization and only one Person, but can have as many notes and activities as possible.
  • Notes and Activities, the most limited ones can connect only with One org, one Deal and One Person.
  • Leads are a special one, think of a lead like a “Pre-deal” so it has the “same” rules as deals and can connect with only 1 person and 1 org, once you convert a lead it will become a deal, so it has to follow the same rules as the deals.

So when it comes to Create a Zap using Pipedrive you need to follow the order here, if you want to connect a deal with a person and a org you can’t have a create deal step before the create org, otherwise you won’t be able to connect both… So it always need to follow the order: Org -> Person -> Deal/Lead -> Activity/Notes and always using the ID to connect one to another.
