I’ve set up a Zap that triggers when a new lead is created in my BoomTown CRM. The intention is to automatically send each new lead into LeadConnector through Zapier.

The Zap works correctly when I manually add a lead directly into BoomTown. For example, I created a test lead named "Test Test," and as shown in the attached image, the Zap was triggered successfully, and the lead was pushed into LeadConnector.

However, when new leads are added to BoomTown from other sources such as paid ads, or other integrated systems, the Zap does not trigger. The leads are visible in BoomTown, and they appear to be created correctly, but Zapier does not detect or process them.

This issue appears to be related to the source of the lead. Manual additions are triggering the Zap, but leads added automatically from other platforms are not.

I’ve attached screenshots for reference, including the successful manual test and examples of leads that were created through external sources but did not trigger the Zap.

Screenshot from Boomtown CRM wtest test get triggered since it's manually gets created, but others didn't get triggered since they're from other source, not manual ]

I'm trying to figure out why these externally generated leads are not triggering the Zap, and how I can ensure that all new leads, regardless of source, are consistently detected and processed.

Any help would be appreciated.

Edit: I've ensured my Zapier Workflow is turned On, and all the app connections are good for the past five days

Hi there @Daniel Grayson,

Welcome to the Community! 🎉

I did some digging into this, and it seems like the Trigger descriptions aren't always clear, if the Trigger requires the Lead to be assigned, it must be assigned to the connected account. Could you please double-check that the connected account is the same assignee that is performing the action that powers the Trigger?

I'll be keeping an eye out for your response!

Thanks for the response! Currently, only the leads that are created from my account (the one connected to Zapier) are triggering the Zap.

However, our CRM has multiple users, and I need the Zap to trigger no matter who adds or is assigned the lead. Is there a way to make the Zap fire for all new leads, regardless of which user is involved?

Appreciate your help on this!

Hi @Daniel Grayson

You may want to try reaching out to BoomTown Support for help understanding how their Zap app integration works.

Hi @Daniel Grayson,

Unfortunately, based on BoomTown’s trigger description, it isn’t possible to trigger on leads that aren’t assigned to you.

Since BoomTown owns and maintains their integration with Zapier, I’d recommend reaching out to their support team to see if there are any workarounds or future updates planned.

Thanks for your patience and understanding!
