If your Jobber account has a large number of closed jobs (e.g., 800+), Zapier might have limitations in pulling all historical data during testing. The trigger is designed to capture new events moving forward. Also the "Test Trigger" in Zapier typically retrieves recent sample data. If there are no recently closed jobs, it might not pull in any data. To test: Close a job in Jobber to create recent data and click "Test Trigger" to see if the new data is detected.
A workaround could be:
Use the "Jobs Opened" trigger to pull job data (as you said its working that way), then add a Filter step to only process jobs with a status of "Closed” and use a Formatter step to reformat the phone number as needed.
I was clicking the test connection button as the user who had access to the jobber account closed a job live. I clicked the test connection button multiple times and nothing happened.
I’m not sure of the workaround will work if there is a bug and the zapier-jobber integration is faulty and needs updating. Is there a way to ask Zapier to look into this?
