And I keep getting this error message:

Failed to create a create new lead / loan in LendingPad
The app returned "A valid branch or campaign were not provided.".

I contacted LendingPad and showed them this:

I then asked:

“How do I connect Zapier to LP?”

LP responded:

“If you are trying to connect through Zapier, you can get the API key under Settings > Integrations > Personal/API Keys section” - which I had already done

And I showed them this:

Then LP asked:

“whats the loan number in Lendingpad?”

Then I said:

“I am creating a new file, so there is no loan # in LP, that is the issue, I am creating a record outside of LP, funneling it into Zapier, and I am here at this stage trying to use Zapier to push the record into LP. But there is some hangup on the LP side I think blocking the record. The account is connecting according to Zapier. But it keeps saying:

‘A valid branch or campaign were not provided.’

Do you know what I need to do to fix this?”

To which LendingPad replied:

“there is nothing blocking it on our side, you'll want to check with zapier support on the error.”

lol

Of course, during a test trial of Zapier, they won’t talk to you unless you are a paid subscriber. I am sorry to ask, as it seems like this is a pretty basic issue, but either LP is wrong, or there is a configuration error on the Zapier side. What I want is to create a new record in LendingPad. These are the fields in my Zapier Table:

tables_record_id tables_created_at tables_updated_at Last Name Date of Birth Social Security Number Address Phone Number Email Address Employment Status Employer Name Annual Income Loan Amount Requested Loan Purpose Loan Term Marital Status Number of Dependents Housing Status Monthly Housing Payment Bank Account Number Bank Name Credit Score Identification Type Identification Number First Name Branch

And I got them from the LendingPad template in Zapier, so I am assuming they should be properly mapping:

Hi @inova,

Welcome to the Zapier community.

The error in your LendingPad integration may be due to the "branch" or "campaign" fields not being correctly filled out in your Zap setup. If these fields are required, ensure the values match what LendingPad expects (like a specific campaign ID). If optional, leave them blank. Double-check and test your Zap, and if issues persist, reach out to Zapier support for clarification on the expected values.

I hope this information helps. Please feel free to reach out if you have any other questions or concerns. We're here to assist you!

I figured it out: clicking into the Branch field, clicking (in my case) ‘Default’, then clicking on the key inside the field

Hi @inova,

Wow! Thank you for sharing your resolution that got the Zap running. This will significantly help our Community members to have as a reference for the same issue.
