Question

Zapier flow not running properly in production environment.

I created a Zapier flow whereby whenever a new form response is created on google forms an issue is created under a specific epic. The flow runs normally I run it from the zapier editor/canvas but fails to run when I actually go on google forms and create a new form response.

Hi @Dabbous

The Zap trigger step from GForms is instant.

Check your Zap Runs history details to see the DATA IN/OUT for each step to help you trace the data flow and troubleshoot.

If Zap step 2 ran, it will return the Jira Issue ID that you can reference.

Hey @Dabbous 👋

Just wanted to check how things are going with this—is the Zap automatically triggering for new Google Forms responses now?

If it’s still not triggering, were there any changes made to the form that’s connected to the Zap? If the name was changed for example maybe that’s caused a disconnect between the Zap and the form 🤔

In which case, try selecting the form again in the Zap and re-publishing it to see if that then allows it to trigger when a new response is added.

And if that doesn’t work, and the form is storing the responses in a Google Sheets spreadsheet, try updating the Zap to use the New Spreadsheet Row (Google Sheets) trigger instead to see if that performs better.

Keep us posted on how you’re getting on, want to make sure the Zap gets fixed! 🙂
