Zapier fails to register inbound emails for triggering Zap

Hello, I’m trying to set up a simple Zap that gets triggered by an inbound email, however Zapier doesn’t register any new emails I send to my inbox and continuously fails the test, which means I can’t set up the Zap. I’ve done a few tests and they all failed. Can anyone help?

Thank you for your reply.

I’ve attached three screenshots:

  • One that shows the type of automation I’m trying to build (turning voice memos into structured articles)
  • One that shows I’ve sent an email to my dedicated Zapier mailbox
  • One that shows what the email looks like when you open it (there is no voice memo attached although I’ve sent it as an attachment)

I’d appreciate your help in understanding why the automation doesn’t get triggered by the email and what I’d need to change to get it to work.

Make sure to test with unique email data. (subject/body)

One option would be to use a different email app.

I’ll read the articles and try sending emails with different subject lines.

I’ll let you know if I get stuck again.
