Question

Zapier Email Parser suddenly stopped receiving emails from my website

I have a gravity form set up on my wordpress website, which sends 2 emails on submission: one to my admin email, and one to my zapier email parser inbox. The email always reaches my admin email, and previously always reached my zapier email parser inbox. However, as of a few days ago, despite my doing nothing at all to the forms or the zapier email parser settings, the zapier email parser inbox no longer receives emails from the gravity form. I have double checked that the email address of the inbox is correct; after all, it hasn't changed since the point in time when it was working. When I email the zapier inbox directly through my gmail account instead, it receives the email. And when I send the email meant for the zapier inbox to my admin email address instead, that also works. I’ve tried clearing my zapier inbox (it had 97 emails in it), but that didn’t solve the issue either. Any ideas on where to go from here?

Hey @McDonald Hunter Gardens !
Since the admin email still works and manual emails to the Zapier inbox work, Zapier is fine. The Gravity Forms notification to that inbox is likely failing. Start by opening the Gravity Forms notification that sends to Zapier and just re-save it. Then check if your site is actually sending that email by using a mail log plugin. That will show if it’s being sent or not. If it’s not showing up, the issue is with your site’s email setup or SMTP. If it is being sent but not arriving, your email provider may be blocking or filtering it. In that case, try creating a new Zapier parser inbox and update the form to use that.

Hy @McDonald Hunter Gardens

Since manually emailing your parser inbox works, Zapier is not the problem. The issue is between Gravity Forms and email delivery.

Try these 3 fixes in order:

  1. Re-save the notification – Edit your Gravity Forms notification (the one sending to Zapier) and click Update. This often resolves glitches.

  2. Install a mail log plugin (e.g., WP Mail Logging) – Submit a test form and check:

    • Email not in log → Delete and recreate the Zapier notification in Gravity Forms

    • Email in log but not arriving → Set up an SMTP plugin (like WP Mail SMTP) to fix deliverability

  3. Create a new parser inbox – If nothing works, create a fresh Zapier Email Parser mailbox and update your form to send there.

Why this happens: WordPress's default email system (wp_mail()) is unreliable. Your admin email works, but the Zapier address may be getting filtered or blocked.
