Hi,

 

I am trying to integrate Zapier but when connecting my organization’s email id, I am getting the below error.

 

Zapier could not connect to your account.

The app returned "Mail service not enabled".

 

Can anyone help?

Hi i am having the same issue. I am trying to link my company gmail with zapier (I use it as my login so it already has access). I want to create a zap from emails to send to my crm. It comes up with the - Mail service not enabled -  every time i try to connect it to a zap.

Hi @Ben Tomlinson,

From what I can tell, this message may mean that your Google Group has something turned off that it shouldn't, which is not allowing you to connect those accounts.  I found this article from Google which should provide some help:

Can you double check that Gmail is turned on for any account you want to connect with Zapier?

Ive tried to follow what yuve posted ther but can not sign into an administrator account as I dont have one form what I know… This is the only gmail i have for my company so I dont know how I would have a separate admin one?

Have you tried creating an email alias? Learn more about Gmail's account permissions.

I just did some checking on that error and it sometimes occurs when the Gmail account is not active or has been suspended.

Can you reach out to the admin of your company’s Gmail account to confirm the status of your user account. See the Google’s View the status of a user account guide for more details on how they can check on the status of your account.

Keen to help get to the bottom of this so please keep us updated on what they find! 🙂
