Hi Support Community,

 

I am trying to connect CVENT to Zapier and I get an error message (attached).

 

I have verified with CVENT and confirmed that my account on their end is not the issue and suggested I look on the zapier side.

 

Anyone has ever seen this issue?

Hi ​@Troy Tessalone , Thank you for the tip. I tried the different methods unsuccessfully.

 

  • I attempted in Incognito mode within the zap
  • I attempted from a different browser (edge instead of chrome) within the zap
  • I attempted from the app connection page

    As you can see on the screenshot, I was able to connect Clickup without a problem, only CVENT will not connect although I have verified with them that it should work.

You need to be a CVent administrator to connect CVent to Zapier.

 

To locate your API details in your Cvent account, please follow these steps:

In the Classic experience:
1. Click the Admin menu.
2. Select Users.
3. Click Manage.
4. Then, under User Roles, select Administrators.

In the New experience:
1. Click the Admin menu.
2. Select Manage Users.
3. Then, under User Roles, select Administrators.
