I followed the steps to connect Alex to Google task, but when completed and I give Alexa the command, the tasks gets added to Alexa To Do List rather than being added to Google tasks.

Hi @immikemurphy

Help articles for using Alexa in Zaps: https://zapier.com/apps/amazon-alexa/help

For us to have more context, we would need to see screenshots with how your Zap steps are outlined and configured.

Hey Troy, thanks...hope these screenshots help…
Seems like the Zap is working, it’s just putting the new tasks into Alexa tasks instead of Google tasks.

@immikemurphy

Check your Zap Runs history to see the activity and the DATA IN/OUT for each Zap step: https://zapier.com/app/history/

In the DATA OUT from Step 2, you should see a Google Task ID that you can then reference in Google Tasks.

The Zap step 2 configuration doesn’t have any fields mapped from Step 1.

@immikemurphy

Then that means the Zap did not and has not triggered.
