Zap Could Not Be Switched On

I created a zap to submit invoices to google sheet from a trigger - new file upload in google drive. Everything is complete and works however everytime i go to turn it on i get an email saying “Zap Could Not Be Switched On” but no other error message or specific issue. I include paths however i do have the Pro plan which should allow this. Anyone know how i can get my zap to turn on and stay on?

Hi @Jacob A90

Things to check/try:

  • Make sure you are NOT on a Trial plan
  • Check the Zap > Change History in the left rail of the Zap Editor for possible clues
  • Make sure to test each Zap step
  • Check your Zap app connections: https://zapier.com/app/connections
  • If you still have issues, then post screenshots to give us more info

Hello @Jacob A90 ,

How many paths do you have in your workflow? Also if your trigger is from a Shared Drive or a restricted folder (like one not owned by the connected Google account), it may test fine but not run in live mode. Try also cloning your Zap and turn on the new one, sometimes a Zap gets corrupted or blocked internally and won’t activate.
