Hey @Jermaine
Welcome to the Zapier community!
From what you’ve described, it looks like the app integration may have been recently updated, which requires you to update it on the Zap and re-connect the app account.
Hope this helps!
Hi @Jermaine, welcome to the Community!
There was a migration of the SQL Server app today, which impacted some existing connections to the app. I can see that my colleagues have jumped in to troubleshoot with you via email to get this sorted as soon as possible.
Many thanks for your patience!
@Marge Hi, I’m still experiencing issues connecting to Supabase database:
authentication failed: AppVersions using SQL Zero require static-ip pool types
-
Make sure you click "Allow" or "Accept" on the permission popup
-
Double check your Account has the correct permissions

My project members can connect, I tried using VPN to rule out the region problem, but the issue persists. No problems with legacy postgresql app. I would appreciate any assistance, thank you!
Hi @ej8! I am sorry to hear this error is coming up in your Zap.
When you say your project members can connect, does that mean they have Zapier accounts and have successfully created Zaps using the MySQL app? Could you confirm whether your account is on a free or legacy Zapier plan?
I recommend reviewing the steps in this guide that explains the needed requirements to connect to MySQL successfully. Additional troubleshooting steps can be found here.
Let me know how it goes with the above, and if any other questions come up. Happy to help!
Hi -- My postgresql database is currently set up with NOCODB and works. Same settings. I simply added a virtual server with the Zapier endpoint IP address to allow Zapier connection. However does not workL
We hit an error adding your new account
authentication failed: AppVersions using SQL Zero require static-ip pool types
I don’t understand how other cloud services can access my database but yours cannot with the exact same settings… please advise
Hi @Tom Paulick,
If you're having trouble connecting PostgreSQL to Zapier, the issue may be caused by using the wrong IP address pool. Zapier requires a static IP address pool for SQL Zero connections, so ensure you're allowing all static IPs listed in Zapier's documentation. Update your firewall settings accordingly, and if the problem persists, contacting Zapier Support for further assistance may help.
I see this error has occurred a few times over the past 4 months and looks like each time it was a bug on the Zapier side. Is the error happening again.

Hi @gordontitus,
The error likely stems from a connection issue between Zapier and the app, possibly due to API changes, server issues, or permission requirements. Try reconnecting the app in Zapier, ensuring your account has the necessary permissions, and checking for updates. If the issue persists, it may be a bug, and the Zapier team will investigate. Providing more details about your Zap can help us assist you better.

Hey Jammer.
We have tried reconnecting, deleting the connection and then reconnecting with no success. We ended up creating a separate Zapier instance that we were able make the connection in successfully. Is there a chance the other Zapier account is caching some info that is causing this error?
Hi there @gordontitus,
To answer your question, we might need to look into the logs on why SQL Server is returning that error. I’d recommend reaching out to our Support Team to investigate this issue further since they have the correct tools to look closer at the Zap and its logs.
