Your Zap could not be turned on - AppVersions using SQL Zero require static-ip pool types

I just got a flurry of emails (at 8:12am EST) saying a whole bunch of my zaps “could not be turned on”. I did not make any changes to these zaps to trigger this.

I can’t even turn them back on via the Zapier platform because I get the same error message when attempting to do so.

Anyone else experience this??

Hey @Jermaine

Welcome to the Zapier community!

From what you’ve described, it looks like the app integration may have been recently updated, which requires you to update it on the Zap and re-connect the app account.

Hope this helps!

Hi @Jermaine, welcome to the Community! 👋

There was a migration of the SQL Server app today, which impacted some existing connections to the app. I can see that my colleagues have jumped in to troubleshoot with you via email to get this sorted as soon as possible.

Many thanks for your patience!

@Marge Hi, I’m still experiencing issues connecting to Supabase database:

authentication failed: AppVersions using SQL Zero require static-ip pool types

  1. Make sure you click "Allow" or "Accept" on the permission popup

  2. Double check your Account has the correct permissions

  3. Check out our help docs for more information

My project members can connect, I tried using VPN to rule out the region problem, but the issue persists. No problems with legacy postgresql app. I would appreciate any assistance, thank you!

Hi @ej8! I am sorry to hear this error is coming up in your Zap.

When you say your project members can connect, does that mean they have Zapier accounts and have successfully created Zaps using the MySQL app? Could you confirm whether your account is on a free or legacy Zapier plan?

I recommend reviewing the steps in this guide that explains the needed requirements to connect to MySQL successfully. Additional troubleshooting steps can be found here.

Let me know how it goes with the above, and if any other questions come up. Happy to help!
