I am new to Zapier and creaing a Zap. When I try to connect my Wordpress account, I enter the custom URL without the /wp-admin/ or wp-login.php portion. I use https://example.com instead of https://example.com/login as the Base URL value.
I enter the full email address as user name (is also my ID) and password. I get a simple error:
We hit an error adding your new account
authentication failed:
- Make sure you click "Allow" or "Accept" on the permission popup
- Double check your Account has the correct permissions

I tried checking older questions and no luck. I enabled pop-ups in the browser, but I have no idea where this permission pop-up woud even show. I disabled nearly every WordPress plug-in except those needed for pages to function, like Elementor. I am using SiteGround as hosting provider. Any suggestions? Thanks!
