Question

Wix Store product name filter not working in Zapier

I had a Zap set up to add customers to a Mailerlite group when making a purchase through Wix Stores.

I could only do this by filtering by product name (see screenshot) and a word from the product name eg ‘The April Accelerator’ and until today this was working perfectly.

Now all zaps have stopped working.

Product name no longer seems to be an option and I’m struggling to find the ‘new’ equivalent so I can filter the right products to the right Mailerlite groups.

Now when a customer buys anything, because the filter is no longer valid, every single one is throwing out an error.

Anyone able to help me?

I have the same issue with a Zap that starts with the same trigger and filter then sends data to Airtable.

I’m new to all this!

Thank you in advance!

First 2 screenshots from original Zaps and 3rd from a new zap starting from scratch where there is no ‘product name’ option anymore.

Hi @Lisa Sykes

The Filter warning merely indicates the example record data would not have passed the conditions.

Check the screenshots.

Example: Line Items Item Name (e.g. Gold Bracelet) contains “April” does not evaluate to true, thus the warning.

Example: Product Name (e.g. Red Shoes) contains “April” does not evaluate to true, thus the warning.

Try turning the Zap ON after adjusting the Filter step conditions, then test live and check the DATA IN/OUT for each step in the Zap Runs: https://zapier.com/app/history/

Thank you for your reply. I dont think I’m being super clear on the problem and probably not doing a very good job of figuring out the solution either.

Every single zap that worked perfectly for months stopped simultaneously yesterday.  Non of them work and I havent changed anything. I am wondering if Wix changed something. It used to work with this filter but ‘product name’ just isn't an option anymore when I try to make a zap from scratch and figure out how to get it to move to the next step.

it wont allow me to turn the zap on…

I will return to the drawing board - thank you again Troy I appreciate you.

@Lisa Sykes

That error appears to be a trigger partner failure.

It may be a temp error that resolves itself.

You can try to reconfigure the Zap trigger step to see if that resolves the issues.

Possible workaround:

Hi Troy! Just wanted to let you know I fixed all my zaps! I had an ideal and ended up switching the filter to pull from a different field altogether and it worked! Anyway I was so grateful that anyone replied and hustled feeling supported by a kind stranger was so helpful! Cheers!
