It continues to make duplicate entries in the google sheet when it is instead supposed to find and update it and only create a new one when one is now found!

No matter what it just creates a new one, it comes form an autonumber in airtable and is pasted there the first time it creates the row so the format should be exactly the same!

The only confusing thing is that the sheet it is searching is hidden in sheets. But I un-hid it and it still did the same thing… What is broken

Hi @jesi,

Welcome to the Community.

If you see duplicate entries in Google Sheets via Zapier, it may be due to Zap setup issues. Ensure you're using "Find or Create Row" instead of "Create Row" and that your lookup fields match correctly. Also, watch for subtle formatting differences like spaces or capitalization, avoid using hidden sheets, and account for possible delays between Airtable and Google Sheets updates. If the problem continues, sharing more details about your Zap setup can help troubleshoot.

Hey @jesi, just checking in—did Jammer’s suggestions help to prevent those duplicate entries from being created?

Want to make sure this got sorted, so please let us know how it’s going. 🙂
