Question

Why is my zap not send me an email, even though it passes the test when creating the zap?

Brown Fitness

I am getting an error message for emails that have a zap sending to me.  When I test the zap, it works just fine.  Same thing with a google sheet I have for it as well.  How would I fix this?

Hi @Brown Fitness

Good question.

Please post a screenshot of the encountered error.

Check your Zap Runs history log to see the DATA IN/OUT for each Zap step to help you troubleshoot: https://zapier.com/app/history/

@Brown Fitness

We would need to see screenshots with how your Zap steps are configured.

The error is indicating no value for send for the email Body which is a required field.

I think I put these in backwards but hope it helps pin point the issue

FYI: This will results in a concatenated chunk of text.

Make sure to add static labels and line breaks for readability.

@Brown Fitness

We’d need to see screenshots of the DATA OUT tab.

Try refreshing your Zap trigger examples to pull thru fresh data to use to configure your Zap steps.

In the recent screenshots with the DATA OUT from FB Lead Ads, these data points have a different naming convention than what you have mapped in the Zap action steps.
