Question

Why aren't Instagram Lead Ads triggering my Zap in Zapier?

I created a Zap in Zapier where the trigger is Facebook Lead Ads, and the action is to send the lead information to a Slack channel. While it works perfectly for leads generated through Facebook ads, I’m noticing that it does not capture form submissions from Instagram ads—even though I'm running the same lead form on both platforms (Facebook and Instagram).

Does anyone know why Instagram leads might not be triggering the Zap? Is there a specific setting or workaround to ensure Instagram submissions are also included?

Thank you in advance! :)

Hi @E-Momentum

Help links for using FB Lead Ads in Zaps: https://zapier.com/apps/facebook-lead-ads/integrations#help

Check your Zap trigger configuration/settings to make sure that Lead Ad Form is being used on Instagram.

Hello @E-Momentum ,

Make sure your Instagram account is linked to your Facebook Page, if not, Zapier won’t see leads from Instagram. Instagram lead forms will only be captured if they are linked to the same Facebook Page and the Zap is configured to listen to that Page properly.
