Question

Why are my Google GA4 conversion events not working with Zapier?

Does anyone know why google ga4 conversion events aren’t working properly, my zap keeps erroring out.  It’s a simple zap, when an outseta account is created, it’s supposed to populate a key event event, outseta_trial_event - simply errors out. I’ve tried ‘Create Measure’ and ‘Create Conversion Event for Property’ where event name is outseta_trial_event - nothing seems to work, any help would be appreciated.

Hi there @Eric Weber,

Welcome to the Community! 🎉

Before we dig deeper into this, would you mind sharing a detailed screenshot of how your Zap is configured? Also, please share a screenshot of the “CONFIGURE” section of the action step that shows all of its fields.

Please don't include personal information in the screenshot, or be sure blur out any personal information.

Thanks!

Hi @Eric Weber,

If your Google GA4 Conversion Events Zap isn't working, ensure the event name 'outseta_trial_event' matches exactly in GA4 and Zapier, verify your API key permissions, test the trigger and action separately, and check any error messages for clues. If the issue persists, contact Zapier Support for further assistance.
