Hello.

When I run the test step for the Claude action in Zapier, the Response Content Text output gets cut off midway. This issue has been occurring frequently since about last week.

Our company uses Zapier's Team plan, and all of our employees are experiencing the same issue, which is causing problems. Could app updates also be a possible cause?

If you know the cause and solution, could you please let me know?

Is it happening for all prompts or just large prompts? All actions in Zapier are limited to 30 seconds before timeout for professional/ team plans and 120 seconds for enterprise plans.

In the advanced settings of Send Message of Claude, you can set max tokens.

 


See more about model limits here- https://docs.claude.com/en/docs/about-claude/models/overview. Some small models may be just limited to 4096 tokens. If it doesn’t fix, you can also try calling Claude API directly using Webhooks in Zapier. Hope it helps!
