I have set up a Zap to send lead information from Typeform to Facebook Conversions to optimise Meta Ads campaigns. That has worked well so far with optimising the campaigns for number of results. However, lead quality is all over the place, so I want to test optimising for conversion value instead. My Typeform calculates a lead quality score that I would like pass to Facebook as part of the payload.

I have used the Additional Data field in the Zap to include the lead quality score from Typeform (a value between 1 and 10) as a parameter:

Looking at the output, I can see it is being sent to Facebook, but it is either not being received, or not recognised:

Am I doing something wrong? Do have have to make changes on the Facebook side?

Hi @Bazelen,

Welcome to the Community.

If your Zap is correctly set up from Typeform and the lead quality score is sent to Zapier, the issue may lie in how Facebook Conversions processes the data. Verify that the Facebook Conversion API is configured to accept custom parameters, ensure the data format matches Facebook’s requirements, and test the payload from Zapier to Facebook. If problems persist, contact Facebook support for guidance on handling custom parameters.

I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any other questions.
