Good question.

You may have to configure some Notion automation to set another field value that can be used as the trigger.

I can't see all fields

The following Notion field types are not supported:

• Files and media
• Formulas
• Relations
• Rollups
• Status

If you have fields that belong to one of these field types, they won't appear in Zapier.

Thanks Troy. Any would that automation take place in Zapier as well? Or would it have to be set up in Notion?

It would likely have to be configured in Notion.

The weird thing is I see other Status properties in the Zap test. For example.

The events is “update database item” then I have a filter to look for a specific Status.

it’s weird because the correct property shows up in the Filter (ie Status)
 

But it’s not pulling the data from the notion side of things. But again, I do see multiple status properties in the Notion test data (Prv Status = a rollup of the previous task status & ‘R4 Prj Status’ which is a rollup of the status of the project the task is a part of). 

I just dont see the main status property of that particular task itself. Though “filters” does seem to recognize it.

Have you tried turning the Zap ON and testing?

Then check your Zap Runs to see the DATA IN/OUT for each Zap step.

In the Zap Run, for the Notion trigger DATA OUT, do you see the Status field and value?

If not, then that’s why the Filter step is not passing.

And may be related to the originally documentation that Status field type is not supported.
