I am having trouble setting up a Zap that integrates Google Drive with Nanonets OCR. The Nanonets OCR action is failing due to an authentication error. Here are the details:

  1. Issue:
    • When testing the Nanonets OCR action, I receive the error: "Failed to create an OCR with file in Nanonets OCR. The app returned 'The request is missing a valid API key.'"
  2. Zap Configuration:
    • Trigger: Google Drive - New File in Folder
    • Action: Nanonets OCR - OCR with File
  3. Steps Taken:
    • Connected Google Drive account successfully.
    • Generated a new API key from Nanonets today.
    • Entered the API key when connecting the Nanonets account in Zapier.
    • Double-checked the API key for accuracy.
    • Tried reconnecting the Nanonets account multiple times.
  4. Nanonets OCR Action Configuration:
    • File: Mapped from Google Drive trigger
    • Asynchronous Processing: No
    • Tables Included: Yes
    • Document Level Response: Yes
  5. Additional Information:
    • I've verified that the API key works when testing directly with the Nanonets API.
    • The Nanonets account and model are active and in good standing.

Can you please help me identify if there's an issue with how Zapier is handling the Nanonets OCR integration or if there are any known issues with this particular action?

Hey there @rjundi 👋

I just wanted to check how you’re getting on with this. Were you able to get the error fixed using the information in that guide Troy shared?

Let us know if you’re still stuck on this at all! 🙂
