Troubleshooting Zapier integration with Notion for goal tracking

Hi,

I have tried to set up an automated tracking for my goals with the help of ChatGPT and it doesnt work. Have tried various variations, but have not clue what is the issue.

The goal is to send an unstructured text in a Zapier form which will then be structured in “Update” (the whole input text), “Goal” (allocation of text to predefined goals as multi-drop-down), “Date” (as in date of submitted form) and “Sentiment” (as in how do I feel as Select format).

Now, once I do all this, there is a new line in Notion added, but without text and I can’t get around to understand what the issue is and feel ChatGPT simply has no clue how to solve this.

If someone can help me I would be SUPER SUPER grateful, am a newbee :) THANK U

Hi @Kaboom

Help us have more info by posting screenshots showing how your Zap steps are configured in the CONFIGURE tab while in EDIT mode.

@Kaboom

Make sure to test your Zapier Form and pull thru that test example in the Zap triggers step to use to configure your Zap action steps.

For Zap step 2, you only have the Form Submission ID mapped, which is not the context that you should be sharing from the Form submission with AI, so map other data points.

Happy to see that you found a solution, I deal with a lot of Notion and OpenAI automations.

If you’d like to know how to structure the responses properly on Notion then lmk and i can give you some pointers.
