Troubleshooting workflow setup for marketing status in HubSpot with Zapier

Question

Hi all,

I’m having some troubles creating a workflow, where a contact’s marketing contact status (hs_marketable_status) is set as true (implying a Marketing contact), when the Record source (hs_object_source_label) label is equal to BCC’d Email (BCC_TO_CRM).

Zapier simply doesn’t show me these properties when I attempt to create the workflow despite retrieving these properties in step 1 in my Zap.

Hoping someone can help me out here, and by the way clarify why Zapier cannot identify these properties in my Action steps. IE look what shows up, when I search for “source” under property fields:

Hi there​@Frederik Flodgaard! 👋Just came across this and found we’ve got an existing feature request for the ability to update the "Marketing contact status" (hs_marketable_status field) for a contact. That seems to be what you’re looking to do here so I’ve gone ahead and added your vote for that. While I can’t guarantee if or when it will be added, we’ll be sure to notify you via email if it becomes available!Hopefully the alternative approachSparsh suggested will help in the meantime🤞

Hey ​@Frederik Flodgaard,I thinkHubspot doesn’t allow them to be updated through Zapier. I think you can probably use Hubspot Workflows to set contacts as marketing.
