Hi guys

I am getting this error when trying to send invitations:

“Failed to create a createinvitationv2 in Trustpilot Error from halted execution:” 

And then get this

“What this error means:
The error you're encountering when trying to create an invitation in Trustpilot indicates that the Zap is unable to retrieve the necessary data from the previous step. Specifically, the fields for "recipientName," "recipientEmail," and "referenceId" are expected to be populated with data from the previous step, but it seems that the values are not being passed correctly.”

 

Then I get an email saying that Trustpilot needs reconnection. Then I reconnect, run it again and same problem. 

Any solution?

For us to have more info, post these screenshots:

  • how your Zap steps are outlined
  • how your Zap steps are configured in EDIT mode with the field mappings visible
  • the encountered error

Check that you have the correct Trustpilot plan to use the Trustpilot Zap app integration. (see info below)

 

TIP: In the Zap steps, click field labels to see tooltips with more info that may provide guidance about fields values/formats.

 

You can try turning the Zap ON and testing live.

Then check the Zap Run history details to see the DATA IN/OUT for each step to help you trace the data flow and troubleshoot any errors.

Check the LOGS tab, which shows the underlying API request/response, and if there is an error, it can often contain more details about the error.
