Hi all,

I’ve searched through a few posts to try to resolve this but can’t seem to find an answer that shows clearly how to.

  1. Here is my Zap portion where I am having issues.

What is the flow:

  1. A new labelled email triggers the zap. I only want the zap to be triggered the first time this email hits my gmail, i.e. no replies should trigger it. Ultimately, the data from this Zap will end up in an Airtable row so I am also writing the gmail message ID to the row.

  1. The second step searches the field in Airtable for this message ID.

In this case the file does exist:

  1. The filter.

It doesn’t matter which field I do this on, in the test stage while bulding the filter it returns correct, in this case, the zap would not continue. However, when I run a test run:

It passes the test and continues. I have tested this on any of the fields that get returned from Airtable, it doesn’t matter they all continue.

I’m starting to pull out what little hair I have left!

Any help would be really appreciated.

Thanks

Hi @msprop

Try changing the filter to be like this for the condition:

Hi @Troy Tessalone I think I did try that initially but it also didn’t work. Will try it again.

The thing that is confusing me is that it seems like the field itself is invalid or the output from it, not the logic in the filter.

@msprop

Post screenshots showing how your Filter step is now configured in EDIT mode with the field mappings visible.

Also, make sure to show the DATA OUT from your Zap Run step.
