Has anybody gotten to work the new discord integration update? For me its stuck on an endless loop of having to reconnect discord to zapier.

Thanks!

Hi all! 👋

Sorry to hear of the trouble in reconnecting Discord with Zapier. @Kani17, I see you reached out to our Support team and they shared some suggestions which helped to get it sorted. Sharing those here so others can benefit from the solution too:

Create a completely new Discord connection instead of reconnecting:

  1. Go to your Connected Accounts page
  2. Find your existing Discord connection and delete it entirely
  3. Create a brand new Discord connection from scratch
  4. Go back to your Zap and update it to use this new connection

Optional - Clean disconnect from Discord's side:
If you want to be thorough, you can also disconnect from Discord's end:

  • In Discord, go to User Settings > Authorized Apps
  • Find Zapier and click "Deauthorize"

This approach bypasses the authentication loop issue entirely by establishing a fresh connection that's fully compatible with Discord. Once you've created the new connection, your Zap should work normally again.

@Community1101, can you give the above a try and let us know whether that fixes it for you as well?

Hey @Kani17,

Try deleting the connection and connecting it again to see if it fixes your issue. You can do that from App connection page here- https://zapier.com/app/assets/connections. Hope it helps!

Hi @Kani17

Try this tip:

https://community.zapier.com/how-do-i-3/tip-use-new-different-private-browsers-to-connect-app-accounts-to-zapier-28812

If you are still having issues, then open a ticket with Zapier Support: https://zapier.com/app/get-help

I am having the same issue. Nothing mentioned has worked. I reached out to support to see what they say. Very annoying having 30+ connections stop working and it flat out is broken for re setting it up.

Hey @Community1101

Thanks for the update. Since the issue is still happening, the next step is to focus on the Discord connection itself rather than the Zap logic.

You can try disconnecting and reconnecting the Discord account in Zapier using an incognito or private browser window, which helps avoid cached login sessions.

https://help.zapier.com/hc/en-us/articles/8496288690317-How-to-reconnect-or-disconnect-app-accounts-in-Zapier

It can also help to review and reapprove Zapier’s permissions in Discord, as outdated permissions sometimes block new connections.

If the connection still won’t complete, reaching out to Zapier Support will allow them to check the connection logs and confirm what’s happening.
