Hello,

I try to create a document from a template in google docs. My template is an invoice. I have several items and these items have quantities. I use line itemizer and the output is correct. But I still see the items with commas like a one sentence. Where am  I doing wrong?

Hi @Zeynep

Try this Zap action: Formatter > Utilities > Line Items to Text

Thank you @Troy Tessalone . When  I do that, I can only choose one line. I need to convert my text to line items like a list.

  • Item 1
  • Item 2
  • Item 3

@Zeynep

For us to have context, post screenshots with how your Formatter step is configured in EDIT mode.

Hi @Zeynep

Have you tried using this Zap action?: Formatter > Utilities > Line Item to Text

(From the screenshots, you are using Formatter > Utilities > Line Itemizer)

Hello @Zeynep ,

Try to add one more step Zapier loop
If you have multiple items, you can set up a loop in Zapier (using the Looping by Zapier app) to go through each item and append it to a new line or row in your Google Doc.
