Hi,

 

I am trying to create a new Zap to create quickbook refund receipt when there is new Stripe refund. It worked well in test. I could load the new refund and created the refund receipt. However, after I published the new zap, it failed to tract and find the new refund. 

 

It works fine with the Stripe new payment. Could you please help?

You mentioned that the Zap “failed to tract and find the new refund” so I just wanted to double-check—did the Zap trigger but fail to find the refund in a search action, or did it fail to trigger at all for the new refund?

Also, can you confirm which Stripe trigger the Zap is using? Asking as there are a couple of options for triggering on new refunds: the New Refund trigger or the New Event trigger (with a refund-related event like refund.created or charge.refunded selected).

I am not sure if Zap is ever triggered as there is no history.

Below is my Zap looks like. The trigger is New Refund. 

And when I click “run” button, I got the Zap run failed error message.

 


Thanks for getting back to me and for sharing those helpful screenshots here, ​@iDox01🤗  If there’s nothing in the Zap history, it definitely sounds like the New Refund trigger isn’t firing.

Can you try refunding a small test payment in Stripe to see if it triggers the Zap? Just wondering if the refund that was missed might have been created before the Zap was turned on, which could explain why it wasn’t picked up. Could that have been the case or was the refund definitely issued after the Zap was switched on?

I have tried with $29 payment after Zap was turned on and still failed to find new refund.
