Trigger New Mention event in threaded messages?

I assumed a New Mention event would trigger for any mention in any channel.

But, in my testing, it does not appear to trigger for mentions in threads. Am I doing something wrong or do New Mention events not trigger in threads?

Thanks, @Brem and @Troy Tessalone. It looks like it’s working fine once that Zap is published but not in pulling test data. So, I think it’s resolved.
