I’m having trouble with the Facebook Pages → Create Page Video action in my Zap.
-
My trigger is Google Drive → New File in Folder.
-
The next step is Facebook Pages → Create Page Video.
-
The Zap connects, but it always fails with the error:
“Failed to create a page_video in Facebook Pages — Required field ‘Video’ (source) is missing.”
Here’s what I’ve tried so far:
-
Confirmed that the Google Drive step is correctly detecting a new video file (.m4v, I also tried .mp4).
-
Verified that the file has a valid Web Content Link (https://drive.google.com/uc?id=...&export=download).
-
Explicitly mapped that link into the “Video” field in the Facebook Pages step.
-
Checked that my account connection is to Facebook Pages and selected my Page (PXXXXXX RXXXXX, ID XXXXXXXXXXX).
Despite this, Facebook either:
-
Rejects the upload with the “Video couldn’t be uploaded” notification, OR
-
Routes the upload attempt to my personal profile instead of my Page.
It seems like the action is not handling the Google Drive file correctly as a video source, or it’s not properly distinguishing between my profile and my Page.
Can you help confirm whether the Create Page Video action is currently working with direct Google Drive video files, and if there are known issues with mapping the video source field?
