It is impossible to reply send a threaded reply in gmail. Is there a workaround for this? I have seen countless posts for years about this issue and tested exhaustively. It doesnt work.
Am I missing something or should I find another solution. I have read all the threads...not a single solve in any.

Zapier's Gmail integration doesn't support direct threaded replies due to Gmail API limitations. However, a workaround is to use the "Send Email" action with the same subject line as the existing thread, which often groups emails. While not guaranteed, this method can help maintain conversation continuity. Zapier is actively working with Google to improve this functionality.

Thank you I actually found it. The 3 little dots switch the thread variable to custom making it dynamic works fine.
Threaded reply on email works as expected using trigger on new email > find email by thread > three little dots by thread variable switch to custom select dynamic > select thread from trigger.
