This morning my Telnyx SMS to Slack Zaps all broke.

When I investigated, I saw the the data from Telnyx had been renamed (not sure if it’s a Telnyx issue or Zapier) so that instead of “Text” I had to add “Data Payload Text” to the message form.

However, when I saved out the updated Zap, it lost track of which messaging profile on Telnyx it was supposed to use, so the existing webhook stopped working.

There no longer seems to be an option to select the profile and editing any Zap with a messaging profile defined breaks it.

I also tried recreating the Zap from scratch and it had the same issue.

Hi @MisterC707

Most Zap app integrations are created and managed by the app developer using the Zapier Developer Platform.

Try these:

  • Reach out to Telnyx Support for possible help with their Zap app integration
  • Open a ticket with Zapier Support for possible help troubleshooting and guidance:

Thank you Troy

The integration lists Zapier as the author, so I assumed they would be the first point of contact.

I have reached out to both Telnyx and Zapier and am waiting for their replies.

Thanks

Where are you seeing this? (link and screenshot)

I can’t find it now but I did figure out the problem.

The previously documented method not longer works.  The “Application Name” was reset automatically while editing and had to be changed to a new name and then that new name assigned to a phone number on Telnyx’s side.

Confusing but I’m back up and running.

Thanks

Wow! Thank you for confirming that your resolution got the Zap running. This will significantly help our Community members to have as a reference for the same issue.
