This is my first time using Zapier. I wanted to post a message to a discord server channel every time I post something on my Facebook Page but I’m getting a “This account connection is expired. You'll need to reconnect the account before continuing.” error despite just having connected my account a second ago. I reconnected at least 3-4 times by now and I’m getting the same thing. How do I fix it?

You might want to use a webhook for a reliable method when connecting to Discord, just a suggestion though. Sometimes, Zapier lists Discord unofficially, and when you try to connect, the authentication token may expire quickly, or Discord might block the connection due to permission issues. In any case, make sure the Discord role has permission to send messages in the target channel.

​@Sync9-Solutions Webhooks were the first thing I wanted to try since ik that's usually what they're used for. However webhooks are under the Zapier paid plan, which I currently do not have the means to pay for. As for permissions, I'm connecting my own account which has admin permissions (I'm the server owner) so I really doubt permissions are the problem here. "The authentication token being expired quickly" I could understand if it didn't expire immediately (literally as soon as I connect).

I have a feeling this is just another case of the same bug that's been impacting a lot of connections. Most of the troubleshooting questions are " connecting xyz, stuck in account expired loop" This is something the team might have to look into with Discord themselves.
