I was able to connect Zapier to Stripe and on the App Connections page testing the connection shows active. When I try to setup a Zap and test it I get the following error:

Unable to pull payments
Please reload the page. If the issue persists, troubleshoot error or contact Support.

Error code: Error while retrieving: Only Stripe Connect platforms can work with other accounts. If you specited a client_id parameter, make sure it's correct. If you need to setup a stripe connect platform, you can do so at https://dashboard.stripe.com/account/applications/settings.

 

As far as I can tell the Stripe account doesn’t use the Connect feature and I’m not sure how to proceed.

Thanks for reaching out! The error you're seeing suggests Zapier is trying to use Stripe Connect, which is meant for platforms managing payments for others. To fix this, confirm your Stripe account is a standard account (not a Connect platform), and ensure you're not using a client_id unless needed. Double-check your Zap setup to ensure it's compatible with a standard account, and try reconnecting your Stripe account in Zapier.
