- I keep getting a error message (se screen shot) when trying to create a sale from Podia to Square. It says “customer with (email address) not found”
- I had chosen the email as the customer ID option when creating the item. Is that incorrect?

Good question.
Square expects the Customer ID, not the Customer Email.
Try adding a Square Find/Create Customer step first, then map the returned Customer ID.
