Question

Slack not working properly with sheets

Hello! I have this really simple zap, where every time there is a new reaction in a specific slack channel, the message that was reacted to is added into a new row inside of a sheet together with the name of whom reacted. everything was working properly for about 4 months and out of nowhere it stopped working, I reconnected everything checking the slack channel name and the google sheet name didn’t change and reconnected everything and tried testing.

The issue seems to be the slack channel as I tried with a different one and the conection works perfectly but the one I really need it to work with is no longer working and I don’t know why (I have permissions as I’m the channel manager) appreciate any help regarding this. thanks!

Before we dig deeper into this, could you please confirm if the Slack channel that wasn’t working is a private channel?

The issue you're experiencing may be due to the Slack channel being private. To ensure your Zap works correctly, ensure the Slack account is re-authorized with the correct permissions, the Zapier bot is added to the private channel, and you have access rights. Also, check for any Slack API limitations or service issues, and consider testing with a new Zap.
