Slack error: Unable to pull channels

Whenever I try to connect to slack to create a trigger, I get the following error:

Unable to pull channels

Please reload the page. If the issue persists, troubleshoot error or contact Support.

Error code: Error while retrieving: This is a new feature! To take advantage of it, you'll need to reconnect your auth. Requires scope `groups:read`. This error could also be generated because you are trying to pull objects (Mention, Reaction, etc) from a DM or private channel.

I reconnected 3-4 times succesfully but the message remains.

Hi @Noradius,

Welcome to the Community.

If you're having trouble connecting to Slack due to a permissions issue, try these steps: reconnect your account with the correct credentials, ensure that the required group's scope is enabled for Slack's user group information, update any third-party apps you're using, and, if needed, contact Slack support for further help. Be cautious when adjusting permissions to maintain security.

Let us know if this helps you resolve the error message.

Hey @Noradius 👋

Just came across this and noticed a best answer wasn’t marked—did either Jammer or Troy’s suggestions help to get rid of that error?

Want to make sure everything’s all squared away here so please let us know whether or not you need any further help at all—we’d be happy to assist further if you’re still stuck! 🙂
