The Slack app triggered multiple runs for a keyword mention between 22nd and 24th Dec, despite it never having actually be stated. A friend had a similar issue and Zapier Support confirmed they'd fixed the issue and reset their runs. Now, Support are refusing to admit the bug and won’t do anything about it.
Hi
Can you clarify what you are hoping to have resolved?
Zapier Status incident history does not show any incidents during those dates: https://status.zapier.com/#incidents-list
- Clearly the issue needs to be admitted to and posted on their incident status.
- Reset all customers affected by this, as we’ve had loads of runs used incorrectly.
From Shane T at Zapier Support:
“This morning, for about two hours, Slack triggered when it shouldn't have, causing the Zaps to run.
Can you turn your Zap off and delete the Held runs? Once that is done, let us know, and we will add your tasks to your account.”
My friend had this reply, confirming its a real issue.
You would need to work with Zapier Support to try to get Tasks credited to your Zapier account.

Tried that in 2 different tickets, and directed back here. So here I am...
Hi there
I’ve looked into your ticket with our Support Team and it seems like our Support Team has given you extra tasks as a one-time courtesy.
Hopefully, this helps!
